A simple website for your business, then we keep it online, secure and up to date for a small monthly fee. Here's exactly what that covers.
Hosting
£10 a month
Your site kept online, secure and backed up, plus one small change each month.
The website build
Included:
- The pages we agree before starting, for example home, services, about and contact
- A design that works on phones, tablets and computers
- A working enquiry form that sends messages to your email
- Set up for Google and for AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google's AI answers): page titles and descriptions, a sitemap submitted to Google and Bing, and your business details published in the structured formats search engines and AI assistants read
- Two rounds of changes before it goes live
From you: your text, photos and logo. If you need help writing the words or finding images, we'll quote for that separately.
Payment: half up front, half when the site goes live.

Hosting
Included:
- Hosting, with a secure (https) connection
- Backups, and keeping the site online and secure
- One small change request a month, such as new text or photos, prices, contact details or opening hours. Up to 30 minutes of work, done within 3 working days
Send changes by email. Unused time doesn't carry over to the next month.
Not included: new pages, redesigns, new features, writing your copy or sourcing images. We're happy to do any of these as extra work.
Extra work
Anything beyond the monthly change is £40 an hour, charged in 15-minute blocks. We'll always tell you the cost and get your go-ahead before starting.
We can link to your Instagram, or add a live feed of your posts using a free widget that you control. A custom-built feed is quoted separately.
Your domain and other costs
Your domain name (like yourbusiness.co.uk) is registered in your name and its renewal is paid separately. The same goes for any third-party tools you choose, such as booking systems or paid widgets.
Who owns what
Once the build is paid for, you own the domain, the content and the design.
Payment and cancelling
- Hosting is paid monthly, with no minimum term. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
- If you leave, we'll hand over your site's files so you can host it elsewhere.
- If a payment is more than 14 days late, we may take the site offline until it's paid.
VAT
Bromputers isn't VAT registered, so the prices above are the full prices. There's no VAT to add.
Common questions
What does the £10 a month hosting cover?
Hosting with a secure (https) connection, backups, keeping the site online and secure, and one small change request a month: up to 30 minutes of work, done within 3 working days.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
No. Hosting is paid monthly with no minimum term, and you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. If you leave, we hand over your site's files so you can host it elsewhere.
Who owns the website and the domain?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, and once the build is paid for you own the domain, the content and the design.
Is the website set up for Google and AI search?
Yes, as standard. Every site gets page titles and descriptions, a sitemap submitted to Google and Bing, and your business details (services, prices, areas, hours) published in the structured formats that search engines and AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity read. We can't promise a ranking or a mention; nobody honestly can.
What isn't included in the £600 website?
New pages, redesigns, new features, writing your copy and sourcing images. We can do any of these as extra work at £40 an hour, in 15-minute blocks, with the cost agreed before we start.
How and when do I pay?
Half of the build cost up front and half when the site goes live. Hosting is billed monthly.
Is VAT added to these prices?
No. Bromputers isn't VAT registered, so £600 and £10 a month are the full prices.
