Things we've built.

Automation, free tools and products, each with what it was for and a link so you can see it working. Everything here is live. The client websites we run are on the sites page.

Automation

Tanners Hatch hostel fit-out

Who it's for
A volunteer-run independent hostel in woodland on the National Trust's Polesden Lacey Estate in the Surrey Hills, getting ready to re-open.
The problem
Re-opening meant choosing and costing a long list of items for every room, and the people approving the spend needed clear, comparable figures: price with and without VAT, plus delivery, which often only shows at the basket.
What we built
A repeatable workflow. Someone adds a product link to the fit-out spreadsheet; our tooling reads the page, fills in the row, captures a dated screenshot with the real prices and delivery cost, and adds it to a catalogue document for approval. Dozens of items across the whole building, in one session. We did not build their website.

Website Health Checker

Who it's for
Small business owners who want to know whether their website is in decent shape before spending anything on it.
The problem
The same problems come up again and again: no HTTPS, nothing set up for phones, missing titles and descriptions. Most owners have no easy way to see them.
What we built
Paste in an address and get two scores in a few seconds: nine SEO basics, and seven checks on whether AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity can find and read the site. Each result is explained in plain English. Nothing is stored. It also runs from the box on our homepage.

Free tool

Review QR Code Generator

Who it's for
Local businesses that rely on Google reviews: cafés, trades, salons, shops.
The problem
Most happy customers never leave a review, because they would have to search for the business, find the listing and hunt for the review button.
What we built
Paste your Google review link and business name, and download a print-ready card with the QR code and "Scan to leave us a review" for the till, receipts or a table card. The code is generated in your browser; nothing is sent to us or stored.

Product

Enquiry, a form backend

Who it's for
Anyone with a static website that needs a contact form to reach their inbox: small businesses, freelancers and the studios that build for them.
The problem
A static site is fast and cheap to host, but it cannot email you when someone fills in a form. The existing services charged a premium plan per client for file uploads and spam filtering.
What we built
A form backend running on Cloudflare: each submission arrives by email with Reply-To set to the visitor, file uploads are checked by content, spam waits in a folder instead of your inbox, the visitor gets an automatic reply, and a dashboard keeps a year of history. Moving a form from Web3Forms is a one-line change. The form on this site runs on it.

Developer tool

Platform Changes MCP server

Who it's for
Developers who use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, and the agents themselves.
The problem
An AI agent answers from training data, and training data goes stale. Platforms keep shipping breaking changes, so the agent confidently writes code against an API or store rule that no longer exists.
What we built
A free, remote MCP server with no key to set up. It watches 14 official sources, eight changelogs and six policy pages from Apple and Google Play, and gives the agent a live, dated and sourced feed with a weekly digest, search and per-change detail. Each item is rated for importance by a model on AWS. Listed in the official MCP registry.

This site

bromputers.co.uk

Who it's for
Our own site, which gets the same treatment as a client site.
The problem
A studio site has to prove it can do the things it sells: load fast on a phone, be found by Google and by AI search, and make it easy to get in touch.
What we built
A static site with the live Website Health Checker in the hero, a blog, structured business data for search engines and AI assistants, and the contact form on Enquiry. Hosted on AWS behind a content delivery network. It scores full marks on our own checker, which seemed only fair.

Prices for a simple website and hosting are on the prices page. Anything bigger is quoted individually.
